Issy Luck
Yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. Freshwater, Northern Beaches.
At university I lived three doors down from a hot yoga studio and fell in love with yoga. After graduating I went back to my hometown and kept up a strong self-practice.
During that time my dad became unwell and died. My mother and I started practising with some extraordinary teachers after he passed, and those classes became a vital part of how we grieved. That is when I understood what yoga can actually hold.
After ten years of practice I felt a strong pull to teach. I was working for a bank in London at the time, so I trained in the evenings and started teaching evenings and weekends.
It quickly became obvious that teaching was meant to be a much bigger part of my life than a side project. I left the corporate world, moved to a beach town in Mexico, and taught yoga full time.
Since then I have taught yoga and Reiki in a lot of different countries. In March 2026 I moved from England to Sydney, and I now teach here on the Northern Beaches.
I would love to practise with you, whether that is on a Sunday morning in Freshwater or fifteen minutes at home with your laptop propped against a wall.
